MIU Mission

The mission of MIU is providing educational programs in accordance with the quality assurance standards in a society of knowledge for the cognitive, technical and moral preparation of qualified human cadres who can meet the changing needs of the local and international labor market; enriching the scientific research with theoretical knowledge and practical contribution to solving local and regional problems and supporting the national economy; and the optimum use of advanced technology through a stimulating learning environment for research and innovation and the development of human capital.

MIU Objectives

The objectives of MIU programs are to

  1. providehighqualityacademic programsaccording tolocal and internationalstandardsand the pursuit ofexcellence in theimplementation of these programs.
  2. offerhigher-education opportunities to studentsholdingsecondary school certificateand its equivalent – who are interested in deeper and morespecialized, purposeful knowledge.
  3. prepare graduates who arehighly qualified, familiar withthe theoretical and practicalknowledgeand skillsandare able tocompete in the labormarketin their field.
  4. havequalified faculty members who are experienced and distinguished intheir professionandscientific researchproduction.
  5. providea supportive learningenvironment that helpsstudents toacquiretheoretical and practicalknowledge,and which is encouragingandwell suitedto the special needsof the educational processfor each specialization.
  6. promote and create a spiritof inquiryandcreative innovationamongstudentsand providetraining programs that equip students withthe skillsof scientific research.
  7. enrich theacademiclibrary with research that studies the variousissues, especiallyin the local environment, and proposes solutions.
  8. provideappropriate environment for faculty members to continuetheir professional development programs.
  9. participate in theacademic and scientificeventsboth locally and internationally, and organizescientific and cultural workshops, seminars, and public
