The Quality Assurance and Performance Appraisal Office is considered one of the most important support to the educational process as it is concerned with implementing of and following up with the application of national and international quality assurance standards and regulations in the performance of all university educational and administrative processes.

The main tasks of the Office include creating a concept of quality and spreading its culture at the university level and supervising and assessing the implementation of quality programs at the faculties and at all administrative units of the University. In addition, the Office oversees the preparation of the annual report and the internal self-assessment on the progress of study and academic performance in coordination with the Deans of faculties and the quality assurance coordinators at the different departments. This requires the preparation of different assessment forms and setting procedures to be applied to the different programs and units, and devising means of following up with the analysis of the assessment on an ongoing basis.
